This Week at El Monte
On January 22 at 5:00 PM, Orosi High School will host an “Incoming 9th Grade Parent/Guardian and Student Information Night.”
This is a very important, mandatory event for parents/guardians and students to attend as students prepare for 2026-2027 high school registration. Parents and students will be informed about high school expectations, pathways, academies, VAPA, AVID, and elective course options.

8th-grade parents, this is a reminder that today is the Orosi High School Elective Roadshow. Due to the foggy day schedule, students will now walk to OHS at 1:15 PM. They will return to El Monte around 2:30 PM.

8th-grade Parents and Guardians, Orosi High School is so excited to welcome your student as they begin their journey to become Cardinals.

🚶The Roadshow (For Students): On January 16th, students will participate in the 'Incoming 9th Grade Roadshow.' At 12:30 PM, students will walk over to the high school to tour classrooms, explore Career Pathways, and learn about graduation requirements. Students will return to El Monte around 2:30 PM.
✍🏻Mandatory Information Night: On January 22nd at 5:00 PM, OHS will be hosting a mandatory Parent Information Night in the OHS Gymnasium. This is a vital session where they will discuss registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Plus, if you register via the QR code, dinner will be provided for your family! 🐦Future Cardinal Night: On January 27th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, the entire community is invited to 'Future Cardinal Night.' Come out to the OHS Gym and Multi-Purpose Room to see the student ambassador showcase, meet with resource vendors, and even taste items from the Food Services menu.
🧑🏻🏫Counselor Visits: Finally, on February 4th, OHS high school counselors will visit El Monte Middle School to meet with students individually and help them finalize their course selections.
