8th-grade Parents and Guardians, Orosi High School is so excited to welcome your student as they begin their journey to become Cardinals.

🚶The Roadshow (For Students): On January 16th, students will participate in the 'Incoming 9th Grade Roadshow.' At 12:30 PM, students will walk over to the high school to tour classrooms, explore Career Pathways, and learn about graduation requirements. Students will return to El Monte around 2:30 PM.
✍🏻Mandatory Information Night: On January 22nd at 5:00 PM, OHS will be hosting a mandatory Parent Information Night in the OHS Gymnasium. This is a vital session where they will discuss registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Plus, if you register via the QR code, dinner will be provided for your family! 🐦Future Cardinal Night: On January 27th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, the entire community is invited to 'Future Cardinal Night.' Come out to the OHS Gym and Multi-Purpose Room to see the student ambassador showcase, meet with resource vendors, and even taste items from the Food Services menu.
🧑🏻🏫Counselor Visits: Finally, on February 4th, OHS high school counselors will visit El Monte Middle School to meet with students individually and help them finalize their course selections.

El Monte:
A reminder that this Friday is an early release day for El Monte students, with dismissal at 1:35 PM. The Talent Show is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 1:35 PM. During this performance, the main office will be closed, and all staff will be supervising in the gym. No students can be signed out during the talent show. Our students will return from winter break on January 12th.
Business Club is completing sales to students for Santa Stockings and Candy Cane grams on Thursday. Let your student know to go to Room 42, Room 30, or find a sales representative at Lunch. Stockings are $5, and candy cane grams are $1. Parents are welcome to send money with students for any item; however, we will not be able to sell directly to parents or guardians, as business club advisors and members have classes during the day and will not be available. All items purchased will be delivered to your student's 7th-period classroom on Friday, December 19th.

Good afternoon, 6th-grade parents! Tomorrow is your student's Reedley College field trip. Your student will need to eat breakfast tomorrow on campus before school starts.
Your student will report to your 3/4 class or your 6/7 class after the bell rings tomorrow morning.
If your student is not going to the field trip, please report to room 29 at 7:45 AM.
